Dr. Petrina Hough specializes in the assessment of children and adolescents who have learning, attention and social-emotional challenges.

Dr. Hough holds a PhD in Educational Psychology and has been a registered Psychologist in Alberta since 2003. Dr. Hough’s doctoral program included specialized training in diagnosis and intervention related to learning disabilities and behavioural disorders. She has worked in a variety of educational settings, including the Calgary Board of Education and the Calgary Separate School District and has extensive experience working with students of all ages in school environments. Through this experience she has developed a high level of knowledge and a comprehensive skill set specific to intervention and support for children who are struggling with learning. Dr. Hough also has specialized training in the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders.

As well, Dr. Hough has a keen interest in the social-emotional health of children. She has been involved with programs targeting young offenders, domestic violence, autism, self-esteem, ADHD and anxiety.
